Hello, there, this is Baozi, Chef Jiang’s daughter. This website is a collection of my mom’s original cooking ideas and recipes.
My mom is a terrific cook. I refer to her as the Chef at home but she’s not a professional cook. We have a Chinese background, so most of the food posted here will have an Asian spin added to them. I also have a sweet tooth, you will find lots of yummy desserts and pastry postings including both Chef’s inventions as well as general food I like.
Everyday, the Chef experiments with making something new. After we purchased her new mixer, we have been eating some sort of freshly baked cookie/bread/cake everyday. Sometimes her newly designed recipes come out well and sometimes they turn out to be …hehe, slightly different from what she had in mind. (like the time the angel cake turned out to be a pan cake)
Over time, I have compiled a list of her more successful recipes and decided to share them through this website.
Most of the first batch of recipes are posted up by me. I will try to get Chef Jiang to add more details to her recipes but she’s rather new to posting and publishing materials on the internet. We will see more input from her in the future.
