Did you know the thick rough squash skin becomes all soft and chewy after it's been steamed? (You can't do the same with pumpkins)
These squash contain all sorts of minerals and are suppose to be super healthy and good for you! Enjoy!

Update: Very important details I previously forgot: you need to get those bamboo containers to steam them in. (dimsum bamboo containers…ring a bell?)
Steam about 40 minutes. ^_^ That's for half a squash (medium size ones that are…about 8" in diameter). I don't think bigger ones will take much longer. If you're not sure, just check on them after half an hour or so, poke a piece with a toothpick or taste one. It's not hard to tell whether or not they are done. Your taste buds will tell ya!
